TSPSC Group 1 Examination 2022: TSPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 16th October 2022. Telangana State Public Service Commission conducts TSPSC Group 1 Examination and shortlist candidates for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police [DSP], Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Collector, District Registrar, Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Treasury Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer and other various Group 1 posts. As per the TSPSC Group 1 Notification, a total of 503 Group 1 posts are to be filled through the recruitment drive to be conducted in FY 2022-23. This year, TSPSC introduced a small change in the exam pattern. Only Prelims and Mains exams will be conducted for various TSPSC Group 1 Services.

TSPSC Group 1 Selection Process 2022:
The selection process for TSPSC Group 1 recruitment 2022 has been changed this year. The is no interview for Group 1 services. The candidates will be shortlisted through 2 stage selection process and the candidates have to qualify in each stage to get selected for vacancies released through TSPSC Group 1 2022.

Note: The interview for Group 1 services are dispensed now. EWS and Sports reservations are implemented for the first time in group 1 services.
TSPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern 2022:
1. TSPSC Group I Exam 2022 is divided into 2 rounds or stages- Prelims and Mains. TSPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam consist of one paper carrying 150 objective-type questions for 1 mark each. The duration of the prelims exam is 2.5 hours. TSPSC Group 1 Mains Exam consists of 6 descriptive papers and a qualifying English language paper. The duration of each paper is 3 hours. The final stage of selection for TSPSC Group 1 2022 is mains examination.
